A Canadian beaver in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, stood on its hind legs on December 1, stretching its body to its limit towards a large branch before biting it off. In video captured by local wildlife enthusiast, Michael Digout, the badger in question can be seen moving towards his desired branch along a snowy embankment before rising on to its “tippy-toes” to bite it. After obtaining the large branch, the badger returns to the nearby river and swims upstream with the branch in its mouth. Credit: Michael Digout via Storyful
