Wall of Cracked Ice Forms Near Shoreline at Leech Lake

An ice wall melted and created cracking sounds on Leech Lake. Sonja Boever filmed a mesmerizing video, which she posted on her Instagram page on November 27, that showed the ice blocks piled up near the shoreline of the lake. “A little bit windy but you can still hear the ice cracking,” Boever wrote on the Instagram post.
